4. It reflects his experience in WW2, “Stiff with weapons, Fighting back over the same ground.” It shows that his thoughts had lots of scenes that had to do with war.

5. I think that the mood of this poem would be described as deplorable and at the same time bold and brave. The contrast in this poem is based on the mood which is bravery in contrast with weakness and awfulness.
