1. I feel a little disgusted when reading the imagery of the blood dripping and squirting, which is a sign of successfulness because the author has accomplished his goal of imagery. When i read this poem it gives me a feeling of pity for the fox.

2. The snow if given hands, and it is ironic because snow cannot feel for anyone and does not have any hands.

3. It is comparing blood as the softest (yet disturbing) and boldest things so that the imagery may go to the maximum. The author is contrasting softest to boldest which is like weakest to strongest.

4. Repeating the same line at the beginning and at the end gives the poem a perspective of a snap shot. This means that the poem is just explaining one part of the event. For example “walking, talking, waliking,” is a capture of a walking moment.
